Q: What is the operating philosophy of Linx?
A: We are committed to providing value to all of customers through Continuous Improvement in all proce-
sses - business and manufacturing.
Q: Do you have engineers on site? If so, what are their specialties?
A: Our engineering office is located in Dongguan, China - we have mechanical and electrical engineers.
Q: If there was a defect in one, or some, of the units - how does your company prefer to h-
andle them?
A: We immediately issue and RMA and setup a visit to your office or factory. We then identify root cau-
se through analysis and issue corrective action – process, Work Instructions and Quality Audit.
Q: Why should we choose your company over the next?
A: Ease of communication and attention to detail in coordination with our manufacturing experience and
suppliers in China.
Q: Do you have a minimum order quantity?
A: Yes, it varies according to suppliers request and customer needs.
Q: Do you have an actual office in China?
A: Yes, we are located in the center of Dongguan City - just outside of Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
Q: How does Linx provide value?
A: Linx is an engineering and quality systems driven company. We manage your production in China at
our approved and qualified suppliers. Our customers do not need to visit China on a regular basis.
We find the best supplier at the best overall value.
Q: Are duty and taxes included in my quote?
A: No. Our freight terms are strictly FOB, Factory Location, Mainland China.
Q: Who determines which factory will be used?
A: Linx has qualified and contracted suppliers for all components and assemblies. They are all surveye-
d and have agreed to all of our QA procedures.
Q: Where do I place my purchase orders?
A: All PO's are placed through Linx (Asia) Trading Co., Ltd. Our Hong Kong office is our legal and contr-
olling entity for all China manufacturing. All funds clear though our Hong Kong bank. Electronic trans-
fer of documents and funds are the business practice. We are a Hong Kong based company.
Q: Do I have to provide an L/C?
A: No, we can discuss various payment methods after a business relationship has been established.
Q: What is your company's philosophy regarding quality?
A: Continuous Improvement and being data driven are our keystones. We also have a testing lab in Don-
gguan with vibration, temperature and pressure testing available.
Q: What is your company's standard response time to quotes?
A: Once we have all information we are turning around quotes in 7-10 days.
Q: What do you like to see in the quote package?
A: A complete quote package includes all engineering drawings and CAD or Gerber files. Materials must be specified. Any custom colors need Pantone reference or color chips. Artwork in AI or other agre-
ed on format.
Q: Why China?
A: China is ideal location for manufacturing companies in America and Europe to produce their products. China has become the hub of manufacturing for a good reason: they make high quality products at a low cost.
